Today we ventured to California Adventure.
They have this cool new display inside the Animation Pavillion. I can't recall the name of it (I'm certain Ron would) but it is like a 3-D flip book.
Note: Ron says it's a zoetrope-- I told ya he'd know!
This photo kind of gives you an idea of how super cool it is-- everyone definitely needs to check it out when they go.
Since Morgan is big into art-- we all went to the Animation Academy.
Morgan was quite focused on her drawing....
Libi, not so much!!! We were drawing Pluto today. Can you see him??
Let's see how we all did. Here's Morgan's-- keep in mind she is an art major in college,
Ron's (why did he make it so tiny?)
and mine. Sadly I think mine would have made a better Goofy, but it's cute none the less.
Next we went to the Sorcerer's Lair and Libi found out what Disney character best fits her personality...
Daddy helped her answer some of the questions and we found out she's Lady from Lady and the Tramp! She has never seen that movie so I don't think she loved that answer-- she wanted to be a princess!
Morgan's turn was next and she is....
Tinkerbell! That should make her Mom really happy-- she's a huge Tink fan!
We hit the Aladdin show just as they were seating, so we went there next.
Morgan and Ron went on T.O.T.....
and Libs and I relaxed for a bit! It was super crowded today-- normally we would just leave after lunch, but with Morgan we felt like we had to stay.
While they were on the ride Lou made a new friend. They spent much of the time hopping around and playing "Lego Batman"-- his suggestion! I love how she can just pal around with whomever she's with!
After lunch we told her it was nap time, she laid in her stroller and was out! She is so well-trained!
Ron took Libs to some rides and I finally went into the Blue Sky Cellar to see what is in store for DCA. I am SOOOO looking forward to Cars Land, the new Red Line Trolly Cars, The Wonderful World of Color, and all of the other new additions.
Libs slept through the entire parade, but Ron, Morgan and I enjoyed it.
There were some new additions to the parade including this acrobatic scene!
One of our final stops was to California Screamin'.
Ron and Morgan look like they're ready to have fun...

One more fun day at Disneyland!

What a fun day! I love going in the art studio and trying to draw the different characters...besides, it's air conditioned in there :)
