A day of running...

Our original plans for the day called for us to grab Libs from school and drive to Stockton...

however Ron's jury duty prevented that from happening.

Poor guy-- it was his first opportunity to take Libs to school and pick her up and he had to go to San Fernando to talk to the judge.

Happily he was dismissed from a 6-8 week murder trial (it was a 5 year old girl who was killed by her step-father) and he got to come home to us.

Libi had a good day at school despite her bloody nose early in the day (if you look closely you can see her stained clothes.)

In the evening we did LOTS of running around trying to prepare for our trip tomorrow.

We ran all over town trying to find the perfect booster seat for Libi. Can you believe she is now too big for her car seat? It was frustrating for me because I had a lot to do, but we did catch this gorgeous sunset.
