Cherry Picking...

Today we continued our yearly tradition on cherry picking in the Leona Valley.

We were so happy to have so many of our friends join us-- especially MeMe and Pop-Pop!

After one year under her belt, Libi is an expert cherry picker!!

She loved picking the red cherries...

and showing her friends how to do it too!

We had folks from Rio Norte, Mom's Club, MOPS, and family members there-- we were bigger than the tour bus that stopped in :)

Libi was a fan of eating as she went.

The season got pushed back due to the cold May...

so today was opening day!

They added on to the kids area this year...

and boy did the kids LOVE it!

The teeter totter was lots of fun, but quite a workout for your thighs-- mine are still burning.

They had fun Nerf swords

and lots of things to climb on in the play area. Perfect for burning off some steam!

Libs was so happy to spend some quality time with her godparents-- we don't see enough of them.

After Daddy paid for our cherries it was time for more eating!!!

I skipped the cherries and moved on to something even sweeter-- Miss Violet who belongs to my dear friend Lisa.

We are hoping to return soon when more of the cherries are ripe!
