We kept our convention streak alive of having a meal with Uncle Tyler. Libi is totally smitten with him and it seems like he is fond of her.
Our friendship with Tyler is the kind that grows every year-- even though we rarely see him.
He is truly an amazing man and we are all blessed to have him in our lives!
We had to check out by noon (which meant I had to pack up the entire room by myself) so we waited in the convention hall lobby for Daddy to finish.
He came out and grabbed us and put us at a table in the rear, so we could at least see what was going on.
This is the only photo I got of Libs with Aunt Janet-- too bad she was so distracted by all the confetti!!!
While Daddy said goodbye to all his friends...
Libi helped the cleaning crew by picking up every streamer she could find.
We hopped in the car and headed home. As we were approaching our dinner stop (Disneyland) I remembered that I didn't check the desk drawers. Hoping that Ron had cleared them in the morning, I asked him about it. He and I both freaked out when we realized that Ron's school keys were in the drawer and that no, he hadn't cleared it this morning. UGH!!! Ron almost turned around right then and there and drove back, but after some calm thinking and problem solving (plus a call to housekeeping and some CADA friends who hadn't left yet) we made plans to get his keys from friends tomorrow!
Libi was thrilled to stop at Disneyland for dinner.
It was the final Family Fun Weekend today and the theme was "Mardi Gras". We were only there for the final half hour of the day, but we did get to see the parade,
Mickey and Minnie in their finery,
(Love this photo and the Disney photo pass photographers!)
and Ron and Libi got to see the Tiana show with Louis and Naveen. Ron had to hold Libi up to see the show so this is the best photo we got of it (I was waiting for our food at Cafe Orleans!)
