A day in the valley...

Today Aunt Andrea suggested that we attend WorldFest in the valley.

It was such a fun suggestion that all of the family went.

It was a fun way to spend an afternoon.

There were booths full of food, clothing, crafts, psychics, animal adoptions, and vegan information.

They allowed dogs so Gizmo came with us. Tobee wanted to come, but that would have been too much for me :)

We met a celebrity, basketball player John Salley.

Cris got to pose with him!

Libi enjoyed seeing all of the booths...

and tasting all of the samples!

She wanted to hula hoop but it was much too large for her.

They had a kids area with coloring and leaf rubbing which Libi fully enjoyed.

We got to meet some nice people from Funky Monkey that make freeze-dried fruits. They gave Libi a monkey tattoo and some treats and tattoos to take back to her fellow monkeys at school.

We also got to see our friends from Gentle Barn-- there was some major posing by their signs!

We also got to meet Henny Penny, one of their rescued chickens!

There was lots of music to dance to.... and sticks make the best microphones!

Here is the whole gang: Ron, Grampy, Aunt Andrea, Aunt Violet, Grammy, Libi and Gizmo.

I had to get in a photo too :)

Libi got into a bit of trouble when she tried to shake Gizmo's paw and hurt him...

so she was in a bit of a mood for a while!

It was a nice day for us to spend together.

We went back to Aunt Andrea's for dinner and some play time...

Libi covered him in every stuffed animal she could find in the whole apartment.

We made one final quick stop on the way home to deliver Liana's birthday gift to her.

While we were sad we missed her party, it was nice to spend a few quiet moments playing with her tonight!
