A new routine...

Today Libs made her triumphant return to ballet/tap class. She was so excited about it that she took one step out of the garage, tripped on her feet, and tore a giant hole in her brand-new tights.

When I tried to take a picture of it, she wasn't pleased! A quick trip to Payless to grab a new pair of tights and we were in business.

Libi is back in Miss Cheryl Ann's class and there is an added bonus-- Elyz is in the class too!

She did so well in class-- it was like no time had passed since she was last there (even though it's been over a year!)

The 3-4 year old class does things a little differently than the 2-3 year old class...

but Lou rolled with the few changes.

Much to her Mom's happiness-- she chose to stand right next to the window, which made for good photos!

When it was time for tap...

Libi's toes were ready!

She looks so much more grown up this time than she did last time she did dance. I'm not ready for her to be so big. Sigh!

In true Ippolito form, Libi is the teacher's pet in class.

This worked to her advantage as she was picked to be the lead in the tapping train. She did beautifully, listening to all the directions from her teacher and keeping a nice slow pace. I'm so proud!

We hopped on the freeway and headed down for lunch with Pop.

After a pizza lunch Libi led us all in music time. We each took turns playing the drum, tambourine and ukulele. Nana would have loved it!!!

Libi asked if she could take some pictures with my camera. She has been using my "diaper bag camera" in lieu of those Fisher Price ones that don't take terribly good photos.

She took the above photo of Pop and a few good ones of me.

Then she and Pop took a look at them on the camera.

Libi attempted to take a picture of her and Pop, but her arms aren't long enough.... so Pop did it.

Good job both Libi and Pop for some excellent photos!!!!!
