WDW Day #6

Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios January 6, 2011

We headed back to Animal Kingdom today to see the things we missed on day 4.

We got to the park before it opened...

and got to see another opening show.

We all split up once we got into the park: Jammy and Granpa went on the safari again, Daddy went to get Expedition Everest fastpasses, and Libi and I went to the Tree of Life.

Libi loves "It's Tough to be a Bug"-- Mommy loves Libi's reaction to the show!

On our way to meet up with Jammy and Granpa we found some characters hanging out. King Louie and

Baloo

(who is one of Daddy's all-time favorites!)

Flik was also happy to say "Hi" to our family!

While eating breakfast we met a really nice cast member who show Libs how to play his drum...

later she tried her hand at a few of his larger ones.

Several of Ron's teacher friends were also at WDW the week we were so we had to meet up with them.

Ron chose the Nemo show as a meeting place for Shonna, Lara, and their families to meet up with ours.

After the show we did a little photo session...

Ron and I split off from the group to go on Expedition Everest!

It's been quite a while since I've been on this ride, but it's one of my favorites!

While we were doing that Mom and Dad took Libi to Camp Minnie Mickey. On the way they found Lilo and Stitch!

We had to make a stop to see the Lion King show...

such fun!

We were missing some important autographs so we made a stop to see Minnie...

and Donald!

Then it was time to leave and head back to Hollywood Studios!

There were lots of Playhouse Disney friends there including: Manny,

Annie and Leo,

June and Quincy!

A short nap on a bench outside the Brown Derby later and it was time for dinner!

We ate at the Brown Derby so we could get preferred seating to Fantasmic.

It was super cold tonight!!! Ron even had to buy a sweatshirt :)

This was Libi and Granpa's first time seeing the show!

Libs loved all of the characters and the action!

It was a very full, but very fun day!
