Did I mention that Libi is now using scissors???
Yikes! I have been dreading the use of glue, scissors, paint, etc. except in the most mess-free forms I can find. Today I bit the bullet and just gave the girl paper and scissors.
She's still getting used to holding the scissors...
but when she cuts she repeats the mantra, "Open, close, open close." It's really funny to be on the other side of the room and hear this over and over.
There was a bit of a mess on the floor, but she diligently cleaned it all up when she was done! What did she create?
A mask for Halloween of course :)
We were lucky enough to meet up with Meme and Pop-Pop (little Grandma too) for dinner at ChiChi's. We don't get to see them often enough, but we always have such fun with them. Libi and Meme even ate spaghetti a la Lady and the Tramp tonight-- each taking a side of the strand and meeting in the middle.
We weren't ready to go home so we made a quick trip to Target and then had dessert at Golden Spoon.
Libs tried to be like the woman on the sign-- I hope her spine never gets that curvy!
The yogurt was enjoyed by all!
What a fun night...
