A very Christmas-y Sunday

Today at church the kids dressed up as shepherds for the Christmas Eve slide-show.

If you ask me Libi was a pretty darling shepherd.

All the kids together made quite a flock.

Did you know that the shepherds roasted marshmallows on the way to Bethlehem???

Well at least it kept our shepherds quiet during the photo shoot :)

When the angles appeared they were supposed to be scared...

My drama queen did a pretty good job.

Libi got a turn with a stuffed sheep before it was time to get out of her costume.

In the evening we had plans to continue our yearly tradition of seeing the Metro train all lit up in Christmas splendor.

However when we got to the station in Newhall it was pouring and super crowded.

To soften the blow to Libi we drove around Valencia and looked at lights.

We have some neighborhoods that really go all out for the holidays.

It was a fun night even though it wasn't originally what we had planned.

At least Libi looked cute :)

Here she is showing you all the rain on our car.... Yes, it does rain in southern California.
