Las Vegas Weekend-- Mommy's perspective

Meanwhile Mommy and Daddy were in Las Vegas. We stayed at the Trump Hotel-- very, very nice, but nowhere near the strip. My favorite feature of the hotel was that there was a TV in the bathroom mirror. We watched Imagination Movers while brushing our teeth-- very fancy!
We went to all of our familiar haunts on the strip: the Mirage, the Venetian, Caesars, TI, and Paris. My favorite thing to do is play penny slots-- $5 at a time. We hit a couple of "big" jackpots-- here is mine:
We wanted to renew our vows, but I forgot to bring the marriage license so we had to scrap that idea. Our big adventure this time was trying new restaurants. The first stop was from Diners, Drive Ins and Dives-- Four Kegs Pub. This place is totally a dive, but they are famous for their Strombolis and they are good!!!!
Our super fancy dinner was at Craftsteak-- Tom Colicchio's Vegas restaurant. He is the head chef on Top Chef-- one of our favorite programs!
It was quite possibly the best meal I've ever had in my life. Ron kept track of our tasting menu on his iPhone between courses. Everything was amazing but the two standouts are the sweet potato puree and the monkey bread dessert. They were even kind enough to send over a complimentary dessert for our anniversary. Our final stop was to Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill in Caesars. We are both huge Food Network fans, so we really wanted to give his place a try!
Brunch was amazing and spicy!!!! Our favorite was their blueberry bread before the meal-- super moist and yummy!!!
It was a wonderful trip and we're so thankful that Mom could come stay with Libs so we could enjoy!!!
