A Yellow Day...

We spent some time hanging out at the house this morning before we ran out to do some scrapbook shopping. I did Libs hair especially well today so I appreciated the fact that Dad noticed and took this picture. We watched Mama Mia with Granpa...there wasn't much singing and dancing but she did look cute and coordinated :)When Mom got home from tutoring we hopped into the car and went to get gas, scrapbooking stuff and scallops for dinner. A few minutes into this journey Libs crashed! This meant that she only slept about 40 minutes which makes for a long night. To try and ensure an early bed time to compensate for the lack of nap we headed to the pool.Libs is doing better every day. She's kepping her mouth shut more, blowing bubbles, and when she does get some water in her mouth she's learning to spit it out!We got there at a perfect time-- once we got into the pool and got over the shock of the chilly water the lifeguards went on break. This meant that only adults could stay in the water (and Libi who was the only child swimming with adults!) We had the whole pool to ourselves so we were really able to have fun!I am very thankful that Dad has been going with us to the pool. It is so nice to have someone to spell me so I can actually swim a bit.Libs is trying to kick but she is having trouble keeping her bum up-- hopefully when we return home Miss Karen can correct this.My little independent daughter really loves the shallow end of the pool. She splashes and "dances" and watches all the big kids.Libi has been in charge of the pool purse where Jammy keeps the house and car keys as well as the pool card. Sadly there were no goldfish in the bag-- Libs always puts goldfish in her purses.
