Now Jammy's gone...

Today we took Jammy to the airport so she could go home to Granpa. Before she left we did a photo shoot for her photo album.Jammy has a "wagon album" and every month she puts transportation photos of Libi in there.Libs wasn't super cooperative for the shoot, but Jammy got some cute shots. You may notice the yellow crayon stuffy in lots of pictures lately. Libi has really been exploring all of her toys lately and she has found several things she didn't realize she had. We decided that since we were already in the car that we might as well go surprise Daddy at CADA. He was asking us when we were going to come visit so today was the day! When we got there, he was pleasently surprised! There was so much to see. Libi really wanted to try the bouncy things, but every time she got close she chickened out.Libs was in her element-- running to and fro-- feeling very comfortable.

She loved the DJ spinning toons and felt confident enough to dance! While Daddy waited for camp to start he danced with Libi. When the kids were assembled-- Ron became the star. It was so nice for Libi to see her Dad as the large group leader, totally in his element.
Daddy made the fatal mistake of asking Libi to help him sing one of the first songs. She ate up all the attention and ended up being a microphone hog. They did the "Tree" song that Ron liked to sing with the Skippers during Pioneer Club. Libi sang and did motions as they went."There was a bird, the prettiest bird, that you ever did see." Note the bird wings. I wish I had my video camera to capture it-- I'm hoping the video team will give us a copy so I can share it because it was so sweet!!After the songs the kids did the hokey pokey and some other group activities. Libi thought that she was a big enough kid to take part in these activities-- too bad the big kids didn't know this :)After program on the green we went into the dorm to wait for Ron to clean up.We then went to check out his room. She looks so small in the dorm hall, but I know that in no time she will look like she belongs there. *Sniff!*Our final CADA event of the day was to see Stu's junk show. Libi was enthralled with all the things he had the kids do.We sat on the dragon side (very appropriate considering that she has been obsessed with Pete's Dragon lately.) We won almost every competition so we got to do our cheer lots. Ask Libs to show you: "Sizzle, sizzle burn!!!" It's pretty cute.

We had a nice, quiet dinner with Daddy in Isla Vista then it was time to drive home.
