MOPS Movie Night

Tonight we hosted a movie night for MOPS in the backyard. It was really successful-- we had 8 families show up!!!It was the first time that Libi had seen Robin Hood, so her reaction to it was priceless!Libs enjoyed her seat near her new pals Max and GiGi. They had tons of fun playing with Libi and Tobee before the masses arrived. We love our outdoor movie theater and all the room in the yard for our friends!!

During the show Libi was giving play-by-play to Patsor John. Some of her more memorable quotes are:

"That's a chicken!" When she saw Maid Merion's Lady in Waiting.
"They're wearing clothes!" She finally realized that animals wearing clothes is strange.
"I'm marching." Along with all of the animals before the archery tournament.
"He's in the balloon!" Shock and awe that the snake was inside a balloon.
"That's a hawk! That's a mingo!" Trying to categorize the vultures who were the jailers in the movie.
This marked the first time that I let Libi eat popcorn. She REALLY enjoyed it and threw a fit after the movie was over when she couldn't find her bucket.
After the film the kids always enjoy hand puppets on the screen-- today was no exception!! I love watching them get creative! It was a very fun night!

That movie in the backyard looks like fun! Do you have an actual movie screen or have you devised a homemade way to watch them?

Thanks for visiting my blog during the CFH blog hop :)
