It's cherry picking season...

Amy asked us to watch the kids for a bit this morning so we planned to go to Leona Valley for cherry picking. Ron went into school, leaving me alone with the band. The kids had a great time playing instruments, shopping, and proposing to one another (OK-- the last one was just Libi asking Ben to marry her!)

Amy got home before Ron did so she and I took the kids to cherry picking. We made a quick lunch stop at Crazy Otto's.

The kids were all ready to go....

until Ben realized that it was actually work!

Libi enjoyed sampling as she picked...

and Emma kept chanting, "Best day EVER!!!"

We found lots of gorgeous cherries...

and grabbed them to take home....

we even got some leaves :)

When it came time for a family photo, Libi insisted on hopping in-- she really thinks she is a part of their family!

Libi and I managed to get a photo taken too.

After an hour or so....

our buckets were full...

and it was time for otter pops! Thanks so much to the owners of Amber's Farm who do this for all the kids.

We ate our Popsicles while playing on the playground-- also generously provided by the owners.

The teeter totter was fun until both Ben and Libi got hurt-- then the sandbox looked like more fun!
