OK, OK-- I know I said yesterday was her last day at SCLP, but we couldn't let her miss Dad's and Doughnuts today!
She dressed in one of her prettiest dresses....
complete with a jaunty hat...
and prepared to honor her Daddy with gifts and songs.

Under strict instructions from Mommy, we got some final photos with Miss Abla,
Miss Carole,
Miss Dorothy,
and Miss Sabrina.
We can't forget one with Daddy too!

then they were off!
It was a very gloomy day so we figured it would be perfect to see some animals at the Wildlife Station in Sylmar.
It was much smaller than we envisioned....
but we got to see lots of animals up close!

The prairie dogs didn't bother Libs...
but for some odd reason...
the tortoises had her in hysterics! Daddy had to protect her.
While it wasn't exactly what we were expecting...
it was a fun family outing...
with a giraffe that lived next door :)
For lunch we Yelped for a good local place and found, Las Lomas.
Post nap we went on a family walk...
up the hill and down the hill.

and dancing along.
It was nice to be out and about in the fresh air!
