First day at St. Stephen's

This morning Libi awoke to find Disneyland (the bear) dressed in a new back-to-school outfit, complete with a.....

backpack!!!

We took a few photos at home...

before loading into the car....

and taking a few photos at school!

Our traditional first-day-of-school sign...

Here is Miss Mary, the preschool director...

Libi showed off her hook with her backpack....

It was new for Mommy and Libi to have to pack a snack.

We went down to visit Rev. Susan....

while we waited for the door to the purple room to open.

We saw a few friends during the wait-- Chloe....

Finally it was time to go in!

We gave our gift to Miss Sharie...

and one to Miss Leslie.

I got to take a few more photos...

then I had to leave the room.

As I was leaving I looked back to find Libs already dressed up to the nines! She seems to feel comfortable.

This sheet is outside the room every day, letting the parents know what was done in the classroom. On the very first day Libi got to be the bell ringer-- what an honor!

She ran out and yelled, "I love school!!!" A perfect day!

We got a call from Stacy saying that they were in town and wanted to see us, so we headed to Robot Park for a little play-date.

It was way too hot to play on the equipment, but Libi, Cooper and Maddie found other things to entertain themselves.

We got them to pose for one photo...

before they were off on their way again.

Before we left there was time for a race with Uncle Dustin. While it wasn't a very long visit it is always good to spend time with Stacy and the family!
