Lou was thrilled to continue working on the letter L today. She is totally an expert with that letter :)

We went to the preschool fundraiser at Chili's before my Search Committee Meeting. Libi was thrilled to have both her teachers there!
Today was a very typical Tuesday for us!
Preschool during the day, lunch, nap,
and dinner with Pop!
There was much silliness with one of Nana's exercise bands...
Today Libi took in her money for her pumpkin-- Mommy only had quarters, so she rattled as she walked into class!
It still thrills me that Libi is so happy to see me at the end of the day. I wonder how long this will last? I'm secretly hoping it's the next 13 years :)
This morning we began with Sunday School...
The kids were learning about the Tower of Babel and her teachers had them build with Legos...
and sugar cubes/frosting. It was a really fun morning!
We met up with the Ippolito's for dinner.
Prior to eating there was a lively game of Frisbee.

Libs woke up with a bummer of a cold...
but she really wanted to go to school.
She spent the whole day going from tissue to tissue, but she stuck it out.
She got to do calendar today, which she has been looking forward too :)
Today we said goodbye to an old friend, our beloved sofa! She has been with us for many years-- and given lots of service, but it was time for her to go!!
Libs thought it was funny to see our sofa in the driveway.
The apple theme continued today!
Today Libi hit 10 stickers on her "bribery" calendar (and Mommy and Daddy had 10 uninterrupted nights of sleep!)
Her reward was a trip to the mall and $10 to spend. Little Missy bought two stuffed animals at the Disney Store and it only cost her $3!!! What a shopper!
Tonight, thanks to lots of heavy lifting from Ron and Lucas AND to my sweet friend Dolly who dusted along-side me, we had some big change in our home.
Today they had an apple taste test at school. Libi thought that yellow apples were an amazing new treat-- never mind she's had them many times before :)

After school Libi loves to tell me about her day and show me all the treasures in her backpack! I'm really enjoying this phase since I'm certain it will be over all too soon.
We wore a snazzy outfit to school today!
Libs told us all about her learning to count-- especially backwards. You should ask her, it's hilarious!!!
After a quick hug and a nap we were off to....
Pop's house for dinner.
While the boys got Panda Express, Libi and I stayed behind to play.
After dinner Libi helped Pop open his gifts-- a West Ranch shirt for his birthday...
and a special surprise for Grandparent's Day.
Every party needs games, right? Libi showed us how to do the Freeze Dance-- she even convinced all of us to do it before we left!
We had Carvel ice cream cake for dessert.
When we arrived at school we found a cute little mouse on the wall-- it didn't have a contribution from Libs. When I asked her if she took a guess about the book she told me she did. I guess this mouse just ran out of whiskers.

She went straight into the room and started playing-- I think she's getting more comfortable.
Libi really enjoyed the apple prints today-- she made a darling painted apple!
At the end of the day Libi asked Miss Leslie why her prediction wasn't on the poster. She corrected the situation right away! So, what would Libi do if a mouse came to her class: "Chase it with a broom!"
While I chatted with some parents Libs danced away...
she wore her flag shirt as a carry over from Patriot Day yesterday...
