A big day for us!

Libi lost her first tooth today while she was at Grammy and Grampy's house.  She was scared and sad about losing it, so Mommy decided that today was the day to go to Bibbidi-Bobbidi Boutique.  Libi chose to be made up as Jasmine and she looked great!  What a fun way to celebrate this milestone.

 

A day full of "S"

Poor Libs woke up with a hugely stuffy nose, so we took the day off school.

In the evening we were committed to serve dinner at the homeless shelter.

We joined our good friends Charles, James and Jude for this adventure.

We had a lovely time serving some very grateful people.

Church day...

Sundays in Lent have become a total church experience. We kick off the morning with Sunday School...

then head to chapel, followed by choir practice.

We run to grab some lunch...

and have some silly family fun before a quick nap.

Then it's back across town for Lenten study.

Daddy is in charge of the teens...

while I work with the kids. We are getting about 9 kids a week-- which is good considering this is a brand-new program that only about 8 adults attend each week.

A quiet day at home...

Today Libi and I took the day off! We did terribly stressful things like balance balloons on our head,

playing with dolls,

and watching Phineas and Ferb to celebrate the Day of the Platypus.

In the evening we got to pick Daddy up--- and nobody was happier about this than Mommy!!!!

Thoughtful Friday...

Today Libs headed to school and I spent time in my office

She has really been working on her reading lately-- she is taking books with her everywhere she goes and is constantly asking, "What's that word?"

In the evening we went to church for a quick pot-luck...

and walking the stations of the cross. I haven't walked them since I was much younger and I forgot how emotional it is.

A Mommy Daughter day at the Happiest Place on Earth

Today I picked Libs up from school early and we headed to our favorite spot.

We had heard that Modern Family was filming in the Park yesterday and were thrilled that they were back today.

We got to see Manny film a scene right in the hub.

We went to the Tiki Room first--- mostly to enjoy a pineapple snack (and to see the new pre-show video they are now showing here!)

We walked onto nearly every ride we wanted to go on...

we went on Jungle Cruise and Pirates before we got hungry.

While we were waiting for Cafe Orleans we did a silly photo shoot.

After grabbing our coats from the locker (there was a cool breeze) we used our Star Tours fast passes.

Libi requested Captain EO next...

and they were giving away cool buttons! We both helped ourselves to one and proudly wore it the rest of the day.

Our next wait was 15 minutes for Finding Nemo...

such a fun ride!

We waited less than ten minutes for Storybook...

one of my favorites from when I was a kid (and from that smile, Libi is fond of it too!)

Our final ride was also the longest wait of the day-- a full 20 minutes :)

This ride makes both of us very happy!

We saw the parade before we left-- I think it's the first time either of us has seen Soundsations at night.

We are tired, but we're still having fun!

One final stop at Knott's Berry Farm Marketplace...

for some sweets for the ride home (and some boysenberry punch!)

Two minutes after the stop, she was out!
