We really had a busy day today so I was super glad that Libs did much better last night.First on the agenda was lunch with Nana and Pop.Libs was super loquacious-- chatting away non-stop the entire time we were there. She loves spending time with Nana and Pop!Nana has lots of dolls that Libi has been playing with lately. Today she took this patriotic angel and began singing and "America" song she made up. It was pretty adorable and I'm super impressed that she remembered where she lives-- go USA!!!
Next we drove home for a quick nap. We grabbed some food for the Shaver's from Stonefire and headed over to deliver it. It was nice to see baby Kendal (and her family!) Madison and Libi played for a few minutes (too few from Libi's perspective) and then we ran across the street to the hospital to see a MOPS friend. I parked on the opposite side of the hospital so poor Libs really had to hoof it to keep up with her rushed Mommy. Why were we rushed you ask? We had to get to dinner with...
Lucy and Missy. Lucy had free coupons for past dinner at Bristol Farms-- every Wednesday they have amazing pasta dinners for $5.95 and all kids under 12 eat free. For Libs and I to both eat yummy pasta it only cost me....... drumroll please....... $0.99 and that was for my bottle of water!!!The meal included pasta, a yummy roll, and a visit to the salad bar. I know you are jealous-- you should be, because it was tasty.Libi really enjoyed her pasta, roll and some of the veggies from my salad. To cap off dinner we went down to the pond to see the ducks. There were lots and lots of ducks...and baby ducklings!!!!!It was a nice relaxing end to a busy day!
Off to Santa Barbara tomorrow to go to the zoo with some friends and to see Ron!!!!
