Every year on Libs half birthday we invite some friends and family over for a little play date.
Today was the day my "baby" turned 2 1/2!! I can't believe how fast time is flying!
We were so blessed to have so many friends and family join us for our little celebration.
We played with Libi's toys,
had a coloring station,
visited with some friends we haven't seen in a while,
spent some time with Daddy (which is rare during CADA time),
and ate CUPCAKES!!
Food is amazing-- you put it in front of the kids and they are totally silent! It was the quietest our house was all day!!
The chocolate frosting Cars cupcakes that Daddy picked out were the hit of the party-- due in large part to the Lightening McQueen or Mater ring on top.
This is the face of one contented 2 1/2 year old!!!
After eating a rousing game of dress up began. I think the girls grabbed every dress that Libi has and paraded around the house.
They even dressed up the cottage! It was such fun to watch the kids-- all different ages and from lots of different groups we are involved in-- play pretty peacefully!
After the guests left we ran over to Chili's for a quick dinner with Ron and my folks before he had to return to Santa Barbara.
While the sun set a rainbow appeared on our table. Libi thought it was hilarious to see it on her body....
and ours!!
Libi is most happy...
when we are one big, happy family!!
I love the little person she's becoming!!!
