Today I did my Mom's Club duty and hosted a play date at Todd Longshore Park. It wasn't very well attended, but the few kids who were there had a good time.
Libi found a patch of wet sand which was a new experience for her...
It was a new experience for me to have her fling a full shovel full of sand in her hair. I had to turn her upside down to get it out and I know I'll have to get the rest out tonight in the tub.
She's getting braver in her old age-- running across the suspension bridge, but she's still iffy on the slide. Some days it's great fun for her, but today she wanted nothing to do with it.
It was way more fun to find some branches lying on the ground and use them to dance, sweep, twirl!
