More Spring craziness!!!

It has been mighty cold around here-- so much so that the kids can't go outside to play. (As a former teacher, I pity the staff on days like this!)

It was share day so Libi took Lumiere and Cogsworth in to show the class.

It looks like they all had fun.

In the evening we did a divide and conquer--

Ron took Libi to school to watch South Pacific.

This year she went as a sailor girl and was the hit of the show!

Mommy on the other hand went out with her girlfriends to make....

sugar eggs!!! Yes, the tradition continues!

Beard Watch Continues...

Libi still thinks it's scratchy...

but it has been an interesting experiment!

In rare form...

Today was another dance class.

Libi is the perfect waltz partner, if you let her lead :)

After the girls changed we let them play for a bit since they haven't seen each other in a while.

At Nana and Pop's house Libi was in a very rare mood.

She insisted we play a card game...

but she kept changing the rules. Silly girl!

It's a good thing she's cute or it could have been really frustrating.

Libi still gets Pop to pick flowers with her...

today they even picked some on the front lawn.

The Spring rush begins

The weather has been really cold lately so not much outside time at school.

When I went in for pick up I found them singing the "Itsy Bitsy Spider"-- so sweet.

When we got home Libi re-enacted the whole Broadway show of Beauty and the Beast with her Disney figures.

The cast was made up of:

Belle as Belle

Hercules as the Beast

Alice as Mrs. Potts

Aladdin as Lumiere

Peter Pan as Gaston

Stitch as La Fou

Snow White as Chip

Libi was so proud of herself that she even asked to take some cast photos.

In the evening Libs went to Grammy and Grampy's house...

while Ron and I went to the 8th grade East Coast Trip meeting.

Ron ran the meeting with his usual ease while Jenny and I ran the back of the room.

Beard Watch 2011-- Libi said it best, he now looks like Uncle Hugo or Uncle Arthur!

Arts and crafts...

You know it's a slow day around our casa when you find your daughter hanging out in a sombrero!

Ole! There was a great deal of play today!

Before my gals came over to scrapbook Libi and I got our craft on!

We made some Spring decorations to fill our home and the homes of some lucky family members!

Beard Watch 2011--- This is Ron's yearbook picture for the year-- he didn't have it taken at the beginning of the year so his beard will be in the book!

Too much on my plate...

I got a last minute e-mail to run Libi's Sunday school class this morning. I spent much of the previous night worrying about what to teach and much of this morning cutting things out on my Cricut for the craft.

Libi was thrilled to have us working in her class...

and I was so happy that Ron was willing to help me!

I somehow managed to set up/clear between the two services and get into the classroom before the class got too full.

After church it was raining buckets and they had a special ceremony for Rev. Lynn and in all that I completely forgot to clear the altar! I have never felt worse!!! We were on our way to lunch through this weather...

when I realized that I flaked on my partner. It's only my forth month on Altar Guild-- you would think I could get it right?

For the rest of the day the weather matched my mood-- I am not fond of being flaky!!! I did get to chat with my partner and explain to her what happened and happily she didn't seem too angry. Note to self: I can't do Sunday school and altar guild on the same week-- it's just too much for my brain to handle!!!

A family day!!!

I had to set up at church today. My posse traveled with me so that we could head out to lunch afterward.

We went to TGI Fridays-- a spot we used to frequent when we were dating and newly married. It was fine, but there are so many other spots in the SCV I now prefer!

Tonight Libs changed into her PJs early-- she even ended up having dessert in them (a very rare occasion!)

Play day...

Today we had to recover from all our festivities so we stayed close to home.

Libi introduced her St. Pats day friends to her dolls.

She slept in her St. Patrick's clothes and she didn't even want to change out of them. Since we were staying in for the day I didn't protest!
